The Group model has always favoured a decentralised organisation, drawing on resources located in its many areas of activity. It's a demanding model, which requires a high degree of delegation and a culture based on trust and control of feedback.

To this end, Chargeurs is founded on strong values: reliability, commitment, passion and boldness. These values encourage a culture of excellence, in which everyone feels part of the successes achieved, wherever they may be. In recent years, we have sought to make better use of the talents within the Group. We have strengthened internal communications, and brought together the Group's different business lines at key events designed to bring the different sectors closer together and foster synergies. We have also created a management programme around our Game Changer strategic plan. New acquisitions make these exchanges all the more essential.

Today, with more than 2,000 employees, half of them outside Europe, the Group's culture needs to be further strengthened around a mutual understanding of the richness of our diversity. The success of our project will largely depend on our ability to unite our teams around a shared ambition. This is both an exciting objective and a delicate exercise, to which I attach particular importance, and which will guide our actions over the coming months.

To go further on this subject, I invite you to discover the work of the American anthropologist Edward T. Hall on intercultural communication. Hall's work on intercultural communication: "The Dance of Life" invites everyone to reflect personally on the notions of group and individual, depending on the society to which they belong. It's an inspiring book designed to help you better understand others, both in the workplace and elsewhere, and a subject that's right at the heart of today's world!
