One morning, the director of the Brooklyn Museum, with which the group has a number of projects, called the CEO of Chargeurs and said \"I have a quick question that is likely impossible but I just have to ask \"<\/em>. The idea was incredible: to create a mural of the photographer JR, one of France's most famous artists, using eco-responsible products while maintaining the high definition quality of the original image. To meet this challenge, the Chargeurs group in Paris called on the expertise of its Senfa subsidiary, which specialises in textile printing and is based in Alsace, France. The Alsace teams immediately found a way to honour the French artist and his 20-year career. The fresco was designed using Domino, a product particularly suited to black and white prints (hence the name 'Domino'). Coincidentally, the monumental 16-metre-high installation was destined to be located in the park named after the product used by Senfa: Domino Park in Williamsburg, New York. Teams from Leach, another of the group's subsidiaries, this time based in England, travelled to New York to install the canvas in record time: just 4 days.<\/p>\n This black and white mural is JR's largest public project to date in the city. Overlooking the East River, it reproduces images of more than 1,000 of the city's residents.
